FESTIVAL CHRISTMAS 2010 Christmas Party was held this year on Tuesday 14 December. It was a
CHRISTMAS "East", organized in partnership with Shoki Ali Said, speaking for many years at the library "House of the Book of Image and Sound François Mitterrand" Villeurbanne.
The festivities commenced with an African meal concocted by Brigitte, our cook and Mathias, the head southeast restoration. Everyone could appreciate and enjoy traditional delicacies like foie gras, but also unusual as plantain chips, antelope or exotic fruit salad.
The afternoon began with oriental tales told by Lila, storyteller and speaker at the library, as well as oriental dances performed by Sama, a professional dancer, and the magic of words and grace have created a mesmerizing magic of Christmas Handas .
The distribution of gifts took place at tea time along with cupcakes, Ethiopian coffee and tea prepared by the volunteers of the association "France-Ethiopia-Horn Africa ";
In connection with this same association, chaired by Shoki, a Tuareg named Muhammad came with youth exchange at mealtime, and then introduced his craft in the late afternoon on the ground floor to that everyone can do his Christmas shopping.
There was also a sale of goods, cakes and jams made by the group Skyscrapers to fund a group to go out to eat.
