Decree No. 2011-89 of January 21, 2011 on rules for calculating the share of family allowances suspended or withdrawn in case of truancy is published in the BO.
The law, enacted last September, provides, in the absence of a student for more than four half-days in a month, entering the academic inspection by the headteacher or director. Inspector Academy then calls the parents of the students and sets up "devices Thun-Bern academically and socially." If, within one year following the meetings with parents, the child is still missing more than four half-days in a month when he took the CIF suspends family allowances for children. The payment is restored when the attendance of the child was found on a month's schooling. Reinstatement of benefits is retroactive.
