How To Transform A Rowboat On A Sailboat

"Our main strength is the explosiveness of our offense"

Aged 30 years, Sandino October has once again the opportunity to fill a record already busy on the occasion of this 16th Diamond helmet. An essential element of the attack of the Spartans, the No. 23 amienois looks lucid American football in France and shares his hopes for his young team can win the second championship of France's history.

What are the reasons that pushed you to practice football?

Since my childhood, I bathed in the culture of American sports. I first started with the basketball at the age of 10 years. Throughout my adolescence, so I played the sport at a high level especially in athletics. After missing the championships of France, at age 17, I converted in American football. What was

your sporting career in American football?

I started at La Courneuve Flash in 1998. I played 2 years in junior with the added title of champion of France in 2000. That same year, I could incorporate the senior team with which I also won the National Championship D1. In parallel, I spent 3 years at the pole hope of Amiens. So after a year at elite to Flash, I joined the Spartans of Amiens and the NFL Europe Amsterdam club for 4 years. During 2004, while my second professional season ends, I am strengthening my club Spartans and won the final D1 face the Argonauts of Aix en Provence.

In 2007, I quit my career for a year because I learned that my daughter was born with the "Sickle Cell" a month after his birth, a disease previously unknown to me. Subsequently, I return to play in France for 2 seasons with the Cougars St. Ouen Alms, these two seasons were very complicated because of numerous injuries. In 2010, I do my back in my old club the Spartans with a hat Ambassador of the PIPEDA.
(Association for Information and Prevention of Sickle Cell Disease) How many years

are you going to play again at the top level?

Currently Convention Workforce Development with SNCF my employer, I enjoy ideal conditions to perform with my club team in France. I intend to play another 3 years until the 2013 World Games to be held in Duisburg. At this time, I 33 and I think my body will be hard to follow.

How do you judge the level of the France team?

In my opinion, the team of France is one of the top 3 best European nations. If we are able to join different elements, we can even go win championships Europe.

What is the best memory of your career?

is the year 2005, simply. During this period, I played with Yoan Schnee, another French player who played in Amsterdam. My career has really exploded this time. We won the Worldbowl XIII. I realize a game to 100 yards. At the 6th day, I am elected best player. Finally, with the France team, we finished 3rd at the World Championships. It was truly my best sports season.

What are the strengths and weaknesses of the Spartans?

Our main strength is the explosive of our attack. We are able to score in 2 or 3 stages of games. Defensively, our reputation is well deserved. It often allows us to win because our team likes to defend against the races with good linebackers. Our weakness is our lack of experience in major events. We are a young team with an average age of 23. For many players, this is the first time they evolve to much public and with equal pressure. To overcome this youth, we can count on experienced players who will lead them to expect to win this final.

What are the strengths and weaknesses Your adversary, the Flash?

Flash does not know Eurobowl win but at the national level is the defending champion. He has won five consecutive diamond helmets so we logically outsiders. La Courneuve players know how to win a championship final in France. Still, it's still a team that comes back from hell. They had a chaotic start to the season but have managed to raise its head at the right time. The Flash will then come up with rage in the belly to want to win their sixth title in a row.

What are the key qualities required of a running back?

A running back must be Fast, agile and athletic. And nowadays, with the evolution of football when you throw more and more the ball, the running back should be able to turn into the receiver. He must be able, also, any cash when his team is not the best on the field because it is a technical leader and mental as well as the quarterback.

What evolution do you see the sport in France?

The American sport can develop. The problem is the presence of rugby in France and other contact sport unlike other European countries. The development will also depend on financial resources on the table. If the NFL decides to develop football and he injects money, actually, the process will be accelerated. And now we as players, we want to contribute in achieving good results with the France team.

A career in the U.S. for a French Is it really possible?

Yes of course. We have good structures in France including the multiplication of poles in hopes France and coaches who are quality. Now, to see a player develop into NFL should be able to send an early player in High School, as can the Germans or Swedes, to carry out one or two seasons and then integrate a good university. In my opinion, 20 is the age limit to go and try to achieve a high level career in the USA. For all young people, it must be a long-standing project. We must first change with a federal structure, build muscles, working his physical and technical quality. Plus we start, the sooner we have a chance to compete with American youth.

You played in two clubs, the Flash and the Spartans, which are you most attached?

I kept a lot of friends in La Courneuve such as Marc-Angelo Soumah Rigor or Alix. But then we must move forward. I feel good in Amiens. Also, I left La Courneuve in 2001 so I could enjoy various experiences in my career since my visit there. On the sporting field, we're enemies, but off the court we stay in good contact.

Flash does not miss the boat

Team emblematic of France's elite league, the Flash will participate in its sixth consecutive Diamond Helmet. Despite a difficult start to the season, players from La Courneuve are vying for their ninth league title in France (a record at this level). Real bugbear of Flash in the regular season with two wins, the Black Panthers Thonon-les-Bains bow in play-off score of 28-7.

For the third time this season in the elite championship of France, the Flash and Black Panthers clashed, and Savoyards may have many regrets at the end of this meeting. Indeed, during the regular season, the men of new coach John Allanach, inflicted two severe defeats in Flash (28-16 and 31-26). But in this game knockout, the Courneuviens did not tremble like the Thonon. While Jimmie Russell opened the scoring, his team was heard against a clearance kick 2 minutes from the end of halftime. The penalty dropped immediately and the lyrics just came back to equality before returning to the locker room (07-07).
Upon resumption, the Black Panthers, however, best attack in the championship, lost the ball three times on two fumbles and an interception. The Courneuviens, trained by the French head coach Bruno Lacam Caron, did did not pray to enjoy the excitement of their opponents. Transforming each of these opportunities to score touchdowns, the Flash flew to the score (28-07). Although Thonon do not give up scoring two touchdowns, they saw them aside by the arbitrators on two mistakes. Despite the influx of young American players in their workforce this year as runninback Fred Wells Jr., the Black Panthers could not avoid, for the 4th consecutive year, a play-off defeat in front of La Courneuve. One of the players under the team, Christophe Sirouet had probably imagined a different scenario for the end of his career. After 22 seasons in football, his title hopes come to an end, unfortunately, the gateway to the final. Flash
the side, the statistics are impressive. Crowned 8 times champion of France, the club president Julien Luneau holds the record of domestic securities tied with the Argonauts and is unbeaten since 2005. But before you can add another prestigious Diamond Helmet to their collection and become the most successful team in France, the Flash will face during its 18th final in its history, the formidable Spartan training. Players of Amiens, authors of a magnificent regular season completed in the first place, were eliminated in the other semi-final the Cougars of St. Ouen Alms (20-12). Despite numerous injuries to their star players such Marc-Angelo Soumah or Laurent Marceline and began their league complex, the Flash was able to raise its head at the right time. This mind, a hallmark of great teams, will once more put to the test, Sunday, June 27 at Hidalgo stadium Michel Saint-Gratien. The battle promises to be hard and beautiful.

Where To Watchbangbros

come in threes for the Spartans Spartans VS Flash

For the third time this season, the Spartans of Amiens were imposed against the Cougars of St. Ouen Alms (20-12), thus opening the doors of the Stade Michel Hidalgo de Saint-Gratien the sixteenth Helmet Diamond. Defeated in 2005 by the Flash finals, Amiens will have the opportunity to take their revenge against the players of La Courneuve who are more easily imposed against the Black Panthers (28-7).

This poster was an air of deja vu as Cougars and Spartans had already met twice during the regular season. Defeated in the final seconds in their first match (26-23) and at the last day of the championship (22-13), the Cougars were once again, despite a bout inclined at all times their face bete noire of the season. Dominating during the first half, the Saint-Ouen quickly opened the mark with a run of their quarterback Ryan Goodman following the enormous work of Sebastian Torel runner. Unfortunately for them, players from Xavier Mas failed all their transformations in this encounter errors with irreparable consequences facing the first of the regular season. By the end of the first half, the best quarterback in France, Perez Mattison, allowing the Spartans to return to the score by turning himself after a touchdown run of 8 yards. At halftime, both teams returned to the locker room tied at a score of 7-6 in favor of Picardy. In

After the break, the defenses took precedence over the attacks and the many supporters of both teams had to wait until the last quarter of the meeting time to ignite. But what a sight! The Cougars regained the advantage and accelerate the scoring with a 2 yard run by Thomas Niang, following a big play of the attack, while he remained only 2 minutes on the clock. The Spartans, led by their many international ran towards the collision and the impact on the score quickly made themselves felt. The recipient receives U.S. Banks Almonzo a pass from 7 yards for the Spartans to regain the advantage for a point (13-12). Obliged to perform a feat, the players section of the Val d'Oise offensive began when in danger in the final seconds of the game and a pass from Ryan Goodman was caught by the defender Nuno Dos Santos Amiens single filament to score the touchdown victory after a race of 45 yards (20-12).

Despite this twist of fate and the remaining 26 seconds announced by the referee, the Cougars n'abdiquèrent not, hoping to snatch the equalizer with a touchdown and a two-point conversion. Goodman relied on very long passes to move up as soon as possible once the field but returned to a safe distance from the end-zone (in-goal), the latter was going on the gloves of a defender Amiens, for an interception sealed the victory Spartans. For the Spartans, this place in the final regular-season rewards magnificent finished in first place. The Spartans will have to beat the Flash, to again win a championship in France. Remake of the 2005 final where the Picards were inclined (33-27), president of the players at heart Moret will take their revenge and win their second helmet diamond in their history after the one obtained 2004.

Winner of his semi-final against the Black Panthers, the players of La Courneuve part in their sixth final in a row and hopes to win their ninth league title in France. Side of the Spartans, the team led by the best quarterback in France, the American Perez Mattison, eliminated in the final seconds of play the Cougars valiant team of Saint-Ouen Alms. Places Play-Offs Final

regular season championship of American Football in France ended Sunday, May 30 After a championship event with lots of surprises, the names of four teams who will compete in play-off to compete for the legendary diamond headphones, is now known. The Spartans of Amiens, the Black Panthers Thonon-les-Bains, La Courneuve Flash and the Cougars of St. Ouen Alms will battle hard to conclude their season on a high.

Holder title since 2005 and tied the record for victories with the Argonauts of Aix-en-Provence (8 league titles in France each), the Flash is once again at the rendezvous. But unlike previous years, this place play-off was obtained with forceps at the last day of the championship against the Argonauts. A cascade of injuries came disrupted the smooth running of the season. Absences conjugate of major players such as Marc-Angelo Soumah and Laurent Marceline among others have weighed heavy but with a heroic last game against the Argonauts, Flash provides a place for the play-offs.

However, Courneuviens have much to do now since they will meet teams that have beaten the regular season. Starting with their semi-final against the Black Panthers Thonon-les-Bains (2 wins against Flash this season for the President's Men Benedict Sirouet). Only the Conference South club to have qualified for the finals, the Panthers have within them a doublet U.S. most successful season. Indeed, the pass Jimmie Russell and Fred Wells Jr. at the reception were drilled all defenses this year with a record of 8 wins and 2 losses, men's coach John Allanach are among the favorites for the title, the ones who were already finalist last season.

But another American player has yet proven that he is the best quarterback for several years in France. Perez Matisson transferred last summer from the Templars to the Spartans Élancourt Amiens has also made yet very high performance throughout the season. True conductor of the offensive line the most prolific of France, it allows the Spartans to raise even further their game this year. But without repositioning the former quarterback Paul Durand Amiens receiver, combined with the speed of running-back in October and Julian Sandino Siwiela and support a huge line led by Steve Guersent particular, the star would Matisson not able to shine its luster. The defense is equally devoid of talent as the linebacker has yet Arnaud Leprette "sack" the quarterback of the other teams on numerous occasions and coached the defensive line by Nicolas Prevost continually pushed the onslaught of opponents. So eventually the Amiens logically ahead of the regular season with nine wins for only one loss. Small feature Picardy, the Spartans have no head coach title but two coaches, players (Matisson in attack and defense Prevost). The Picards will face in the semifinals, the Cougars of St. Ouen Alms.

These two teams also met at the last day of the championship and this confrontation is not likely to reassure the players in the Val d'Oise, who lost 22-13 on their land. To hope to raise the helmet Diamond, the Cougars were forced to make a great match against the best team in France today. And a feat, the players of Saint-Ouen Alms are able to reflect their victory against the Flash, its main rival in the Paris region, which occurred after 17 consecutive defeats. Led by a younger generation full of panache in attack (Niang, Torelli, Hebel, Kovalcik) as a defense (Larochelle, Collas), Xavier Mas men finish this first phase with evidence of victories including the Argonauts or the Templars of 'Élancourt that can transcend at time of challenge the Spartans in Amiens.

The Templars Élancourt missing very few qualify for the playoffs. Indeed, the Flash, the Cougars and the Templars, making the same record (6 wins - 4 losses), pushed the federal bodies in the depths of their regulations on sharing between teams tie, not finding the solution that after using the third tie-breaker criterion. But the Templars, not spared by injuries to key elements have not fallen, even distressing one of two defeats Black Panthers.

Later in the ranking we find the Argonauts, semifinalists last year. The "Argos" have had a difficult season in terms of results but their fast attack led by their quarterback Adam Kruse metronome should certainly lead them to the forefront next season. Also note the path this season honorable Nice Dolphins, led by its iconic chairman, Jean-Luc Donivar. Nice to have shown that their project-based youth sports began to bear fruit and it will count on them quickly in the landscape of French football. Their neighbor Cannes, the Iron Mask is when saving them in extremist with a final victory (34-28) in the derby of the Riviera deal with Dolphins on the last day. Finally

Centurions de Nîmes, promoted this year, back down to D2. Despite a victory (41-21) at the 8th day against their direct competitor, the Iron Mask, the Nimes had no weapons to fight against the French big guns installed for several years in the Elite league. But the club should again speak to him very quickly because it is currently undergoing reorganization to an unprecedented event in France in August. Indeed, the Centurions prepare within the arenas of Nimes (16 000 seats) a full weekend dedicated to football with the highlight of the meeting of two American teams.

The epilogue of the 2010 season championship of American Football in France promises to be exciting. Flash will he steal his title by teams that are challenging the Spartans or the Black Panthers? Unless the Cougars do not create the surprise of the season? All issues that we have the answers on June 27 in Michel Hidalgo stadium in Saint-Gratien. Meanwhile, place the semi-finals: Spartans vs. Cougars and Black Panthers vs. Flash, Saturday, June 12 at 20:00.
